oh... its officially october i really hadnt noticed... but i have an announcement that ive been dreading to make I say this with a heavy heart... But i wont be doing Inktober this year

I've been doing Inktober for 8 years now And everyyear i pour my heart and soul into doing Inks that seemingly seem to happen by magic and i usually feel such a big inspiration to do my Best Works! and i will admit that i usually prepare for it too But something happened this year and well I havent really been myself this year Art has been hard, doing anything has been hard i am trying! I'm happy to have the asks that i have to inspire me But everytime i've gone to Ink, the drive has.. just not been there i did manage! to do about 4 of them I will post them a bit spaced out through this week But after that.. I think what i will do is that i will reblog my favorite inktobers throughout the year that i have done in honor Another thing im doing is im trying to rekindle my love in different fandoms, because it sort of feels like i've already drawn for everything! i'm watching a lot of shows.. playing games it feels like fandoms are at a standstill right now I'm just waiting for the next big excitement to hit! It definitely feels like a grand Pause Where im revisiting a lot of old shows while im waiting I know not a lot of people will be bothered, Im not a very well known artist. But for anyone who knew me for my inks I do apologize to you and to myself It honestly breaks my own heart that im just... not doing it this year ive always looked so forward to it... But also ive always just tried to do the extraordinary, always one-upping myself! going the distance! Inktober always has been magical for me... I'm not sure if i will be "fixed" by next year or if it will feel ok to return after missing a year but i just dont have it this year the drive, the motivation, the energy, the magic... i have to look inside and find it again

Before I cave in and try to actually finish catching up old gods of Appalachia does anyone have PREFERABLY FINISHED* podcasts I should check out

*finished can mean done a season, or fully complete no new episodes (higher preference ATM to fully finished podcasts so I'm not like bugged by 453686 new ones coming out as I catch up)

Here's my short list of podcasts I like/enjoy/etc: N.ADDPOD, C.ritical Role, D.ndads, N.ight Vale, Alice Isn't Dead (LOVE Alice Isn't Dead I relisten to episodes all the time), M.alevolent (just finished + caught up)

I'm not particularly looking for more dnd podcasts, preferably fiction based (not interested in like t.rue crime podcasts or anything like that), horror podcasts are 50/50 for me. If your podcast has eye gore or eye trauma or just anything fucked happening to eyes I'm more interested. Demons. I need more demon media. Would be down for unreality podcasts if anyone has ones like that. Otherwise I'm gonna try to catch up on Old Gods ok thanks

Robert goes in search for Debbie and even calls Cain to see if maybe she ran back to him. But that’s not the case as she was in Robert’s car in the backseat. Robert apologizes for his behavior which she accepts in the end… at least now she knows how he pretend feels for her. Back at Wishing Well, the family is setting up (if you call it that) a computer for Debbie. Cain is certain Debbie is up to something and it sure ain’t got nada to do with Andy.

If you don't mind, could you elaborate on this?

Here is a small article from ADDitude magazine from this January that briefly touches on this, and one from last year that also breaks it down without little anecdotes (a little easier imo). This publication is one that my behavioral therapist's office often will send useful articles from, they feel almost too simple to read but i've noticed that they seem to be formatted for people with ADHD. But they do work with board-certified medical professionals and are consistently fact-checking and updating their articles to contain accurate information and research. There are plenty of articles connected to these so I thought it was a good place to begin, as I'm still learning too. Doctors are thankfully doing more research on both of these diagnosis, and I was hesitant to include links from doctor-i-run-a-blog-and-got-diagnosed.

But just on the surface from what I remember from visits with my doctor, both diagnosis have shared comorbidities (such as anxiety, depression, OCD, bipolar, EDs) and shared symptoms ( such as sensory issues, impulse control issues, emotional regulation difficulties, executive functioning difficulties, rejection-sensitivity, special interests, higher risk of substance abuse, other ND communication patterns, and even stimming). It is not uncommon for a child to be misdiagnosed with ADHD when they really should receive treatment for ASD, or vice versa. Sometimes they go hand in hand. It's all very interconnected.

Again, I'm no doctor and this is just what I've learned from mine! I would encourage you to contact your healthcare provider for more information, or ask them to help you connect with a behavioral therapist that specializes in ADHD treatment.

Hey so I'm not trying to start anything but if you can't differentiate between fiction and reality maybe get some help with that.

You are absolutely at liberty to be weird about fictional characters you like, it doesn't mean you actually feel genuine emotion towards them. Most people can tell the difference between blorbo from my video games and an actual person.

As much as I like the cast of BG3 and have written fanfic and erotica about them, I also recognize that they don't exist and I don't feel sexual attraction to them. I recognize fiction and fantasy from reality, and so my hobby of playing barbies in my brain does not interfere with my day-to-day existence.

If you genuinely conflate fandom for a non-existent person with genuine human feelings or interaction, maybe seek help?

could be worse but i'm doing better by locking myself up in my room and watching movies and low key critique them. just giving myself something to do when i'm not cleaning. and so far i've been watching animated movies of my childhood since youtube surprisingly still has the full movies uploaded and ironically there's a lot of snow white here tho she's not my fave disney princess. i loved 3 of these direct to video snow white movies and can't wait for that disney live action of snow white to get thoughts about that one
